To Dream Music Studios, celebrating 20 years in Pacific Palisades, bring their voice and piano students to the Electric Lodge for their 2019 Spring Concerts.

Dana Greene Vocal Works – Singer, pianist and one of LA’s top vocal coaches for the emerging voices, Dana Greene students perform their annual year end concert.  Students 6 and up take center stage with her band singing this year’s theme

“A Grammy Celebration!”  Songs that won or that were nominated for Grammy’s will be showcased. Great songs and fearless performances from amazing young artists!

Jim Avakian Music – Multi-Instrumentalist, producer, composer and educator, Jim’s students will play various pieces, from classical to pop, as well as performances from students who sing & play!

Join us for inspiring afternoon of performances from our next generation of artists!

Dana Greene has set the standard as the leading teacher of voice for emerging voices in the Los Angeles area.  She has brought her teaching talents to the Walt Disney Studios and her students are gracing stages nationwide and have received high honors including winners of the Music Center Spotlight Awards, Southern California Vocal Association, finalists in the National Young Arts Foundation and the Sarah Vaughn Jazz Competition.

Jim Avakian Multi-instrumentalist and Composer, Jim Avakian, offers lessons in piano, drums, ukulele, as well as recording. Students learn sound foundation skills; technique, sight reading, rhythm development and improvisation. “My goal is to inspire the student on their musical path, make lessons fun, and bring out each student’s own natural musicality and expression.” Avakian also offers an amazing technique which allows students to SING & PLAY piano fast, tailoring arrangements of their favorite songs so they are eager to sit at the keyboard! 

As music composer & sound designer for “The Production House” in Rhode Island, Jim expanded his horizons writing jingles as well as composing and producing music for local film & TV projects. His passion in music has taken him throughout the country playing in top R&B and rock bands as a multi-keyboardist and drummer, as well as working in the studio producing and composing his own original work. jimavakian.com
