French Waitress and Other Plays (Thursday, Mar. 16 @8PM)

“Love is a battlefield.” “I must be cruel only to be kind.” “Love is blind.” “Love is patient, love is kind…” “All you need is love.” Love is all those things and more in this West Coast Premiere of John Patrick Shanley’s “French Waitress and Other Plays.” Six scenes dive into love, lust, power, passion, and obsession as each examines a romantic relationship at its moment of truth.

In FRENCH WAITRESS, Ricky and his girlfriend Pamela sit down to an unsettling meal served by a gorgeous but unnerving French waitress.

AN OLD STORY weaves a tale that explores the tenuous lines between pain and pleasure, fear and exhilaration, necessity and desire.

JEALOUS pits one couple’s love against ravenous otherworldly forces.

In POLAND, a beautiful model and a millionaire look for personal fulfillment in the pieces of a thousand-pieces puzzle that comes to represent their lives.

LAST NIGHT IN THE GARDEN I SAW YOU follows a man’s journey over the fence into the house of the woman he abandoned. His unexpected return forces them both to reconsider the life – and love – each has chosen.

In Mt. Juliet, TENNESSEE, a young man begs a lonely woman with the power of foresight to reveal his future. However, he soon finds that his knowledge of the future imposes a new responsibility: to accept his future, or change it.
